Aim, Objectives & Scope

Journal of MMDC is a biomedical research journal that is devoted to publishing the recent advances in all areas of biomedical research for physicians, surgeons, post-graduate trainees, and undergraduate students with special emphasis on clarity of presentation and accuracy of the presented data.

Articles published in the Journal of MMDC cover a wide range of fields from basic medical sciences, clinical specialties, and super specialty areas. Articles describing original clinical or laboratory investigations, case reports, and public health-related studies.

As a multi-disciplinary journal published by the most renowned and oldest Private medical institute in south Punjab, the Journal of MMDC publishes the most relevant original research articles that form the foundations of tomorrow's medicine in Pakistan and around the globe.

Specific objectives are to:

  • Inspire and Assist all researchers including Students, Internees, post graduate residents, consultants and faculty members from all over Pakistan and around the globe to get their research published in JMMDC.
  • Captivate good quality original research articles, systematic reviews and discussions in all fields of healthcare including medicine, surgery, basic medical sciences, dentistry, rehabilitation sciences, nursing, nutrition and allied health sciences.
  • Attract articles and research from widely scattered population of Pakistan including coverage of the underprivileged districts of all provinces of Pakistan.
  • To follow an unbiased, helpful and on-time, high-quality peer review process which would help to ensure quality of research published in JMMDC.
  • To publish and provide evidence base of current health related problems and their localized solutions to healthcare providers.
  • To provide a platform for publication of health research of broad range of disciplines, methodologies and areas.
  • Confirm that research published in JMMDC is understandable and available to all the health care providers and stakeholders involved in patients care.
